As part of Monki’s efforts on animal welfare, the fashion brand has been granted PETA-approved certification for its entire new range of faux leather accessory and shoe range including on-trend tiny handbags, card cases and statement shoes.
Monki has always voiced its concern for animal welfare. The brand does not presently produce any products in leather, down and feathers – but for the very small percentage of existing older products, Monki has a strict policy for animal welfare in its Sustainability Commitment which contained a list of completely restricted materials which includes no rain forest products, no real furs and no angora, cashmere or mohair wool and no animal testing.
The new collection that is PETA certified vegan is available online and in stores now.
