New Balance opens doors to its newest and largest lighthouse outlet in Southeast Asia at the Pavilion Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur last week.
Set to bring the best in performance footwear to fitness fans, coupled with stylish lifestyle gear that complements the on-the-go everyday consumer, the 6,400 square feet store showcases the brand’s manifestation towards innovation, evolution and everyone’s desire to dream and push forward.
Featuring women’s and men’s running, training, football, kids and lifestyle selections, the new outlet brings with it a progressive fresh look, taking cue from the contemporary urban lifestyle, while staying true to its 110-year heritage and legacy that is rooted in performance and athleticism. Shoppers are led into an interactive and immersive experience of the brand, welcomed by dynamic visuals and a truly unique active and performance driven environment.
Making its mark on the digital front, New Balance also equipped its newest store in the region with the latest in technological innovation. The store gallery features the Stride I.D. and Stride I.D. Track system. This state-of-the-art 3D foot scanner captures foot sizes in seconds and the image is then used to determine the best-fitting New Balance footwear. Once customers are scanned into the system, they can access their 3D data online and their data is integrated into New Balance’s gait analysis app, Stride ID. This system will ensure that the wearer will have the perfect pair of New Balance shoes to fit their exact needs and lifestyle.
Added to the store’s new concept is the brand’s iconic ‘Made in US and UK’ collection, New Balance’s selection of premier custom made sneakers. Hand-made by talented figures directly from its factories in the United States (U.S) and United Kingdom (U.K), these kicks demonstrate the pillars that underpin New Balance’s brand ethos – quality and craftsmanship, and uniquely mirrors the culture and individuality of its origins.
New Balance has also assembled a 247 Pop-Up store next to the iconic Pavilion Crystal Fountain. The stylised convenient store set-up showcases the brand’s recently launched NB 247 line – a shoe collection built for today’s 24/7 lifestyle and will be opened from 20 April – 1 May 2017.
