Presented for the first time in the Fall/Winter 2018-19 Collections, the Fancy FENDI are hi-tech sneakers with a streetwear and urban style, characterized by a solid and clear design with a sporty feeling.
The silhouette is highlighted by a chunky rubber sole with a cushioned gel bubble which embraces a multilayered mix of materials across the upper part, expressing the great expertise, experimental attitude and attention to details of the Maison. Technical and light fabrics such as transparent net and shiny pvc meet soft leather and suede for a futuristic yet luxurious appeal that pervades the entire shoe. Topstitches outline the heel counter as a contemporary reference to the iconic Selleria Cuoio Romano stitches and to the Maison’s key codes of craftsmanship and researched design. The lace eyelets are peppered by a triangular shape with the word FENDI, while a pvc tag with an embossed FF logo adorns the transparent tongue for a real FENDI statement.
Showcased in Men’s and Women’s variations, the Fancy FENDI are available in a wide range of colour combinations – from tone-on-tone to multicolour – to fit different styles and attitudes.
Three special models, all characterized by rope style shoelaces and natural palettes with contrasting colour touches, will be available as a preview in selected FENDI boutiques worldwide and on fendi.com from July 2018.
