The Piaget Rose is best-known as one of the Maison’s exquisite jewellery collections, but it is also the name of an award-winning flower named after Yves Piaget. This glorious rose can range in colour from light pink to a vibrant fuchsia and is appreciated for its large bloom with 80 layers of petals and its magnificent fragrance that features hints of citrus.
The Maison presented the first Piaget Rose jewellery collection in 2012 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Yves Piaget Rose. Over the years the Maison has created an array of jewels inspired by the Yves Piaget Rose, capturing these delightful flowers with precious metals, diamonds and coloured gemstones.
Piaget Fine Jewellery
This latest collection has reinterpreted the rose with a trendier petal design. In the new fine jewellery series, there are two sets – rose gold and white gold – that includes diamond-set rings, earrings, pendants and necklaces all featuring a new modern version of this delicate flower.
The rose gold set includes a ring with 26 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.12 cts.), a pendant that is set with 36 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.21 cts.) and earrings that sparkle with 70 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.26 cts.). Both the ring and the pendant feature a chain that holds a mobile diamond that moves like a droplet of morning dew.
The white gold set is almost entirely paved with diamonds with a fully-set ring with 63 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.24 cts.), a pendant with 91 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.44 cts.) and earrings with 180 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.70 cts.)
Piaget Medium Jewellery
Another six precious new creations join the Piaget Rose Collection, starting with an 18-karat white gold Piaget Rose bracelet that features Piaget’s eternal rose in the centre and three mobile chains that flow in tune with each movement of the wrist. Each rose petal reproduces the characteristic volume of the Yves Piaget Rose. The Piaget Rose bracelet glistens from every angle thanks to the meticulous setting of 181 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 2.17 cts) and four marquise-cut diamonds (0.61 cts) that are expertly cut to catch and reflect the light in a delightful display that awakens the senses.
A pair of 18-karat white gold Piaget Rose earrings set with 282 scintillating brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.48 cts) puts the innovative openworked rose at the centre of its design. The refined and radiant rose petals are light yet generous, interpreting the emblematic Yves Piaget rose with the finest gold smithing and gem setting craftsmanship. The lure of diamonds is undeniable, as one of nature’s finest and most ancient creations, these precious stones evoke a sense of purity and timeless beauty.
This exceptional Piaget Rose necklace is more than a piece of jewellery; it is a work of art with its elegant 42-45 cm double chain and eternal rose that is accentuated with four dangling decorative diamond-set chains. Crafted from 18-karat white gold, this Piaget Rose necklace has been set with 170 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.88 cts) and six marquise-cut diamonds (approx. 0.92 cts) – one of the Maison’s favourite cuts – bringing both sparkle and sophistication.
This ultra-chic Piaget Rose sautoir celebrates the Yves Piaget rose with two openworked roses and three 18-karat white gold chains that flow with the movement of the body. This feminine and voluptuous 80cm necklace is set with 346 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 4.10 cts) and four marquise-cut diamonds (approx. 0.61 cts) that forever immortalize the precious rose.
Two additional Piaget Rose sautoirs join the collection with alternating sized and styles of roses. Some are fully set with gemstones, while others feature diamonds on the inner petals and others include a stunning solitary diamond in the centre. The roses are asymmetrically positioned on a choice of an 18-karat white or rose gold chain. The 18-karat white gold sautoir is set with 197 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.59 cts), while the 18-karat rose gold version is set with 87 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.14 cts). Thanks to their long length of 95 cm, they can also be looped twice around the neck and worn as a necklace.
Inspired by the queen of flowers, one of nature’s finest inventions, these new Piaget Rose jewellery creations bring light and innovation to the Maison’s timeless floral icon.
