Dassler wasn’t afraid of competition, stepping out on his own to start PUMA in 1948 making it one of the oldest sneaker brands still standing. And the Suede completely upgraded the canvas-and-leather sneaker game with its timeless design from the fine fabric to the grippy sole to the classic Formstrip. It is a street legend with that same fearless spirit #ForAllTime.

This classy rendition keeps it G with black laces on black suede and cream accents with a textured outsole to set it off. A sleek nod to Dassler and PUMA’s earliest logo is etched on the side of the heel – a cat crawling through the letter “D” – make it a must for any PUMA collector. The kicks arrive in a special edition Suede 50 shoebox with metallic gold details and branding.
Kick It With The B-boy Pack
PUMA’s 50 years of the Suede is also paying homage to the B-boy culture with the B-boy Pack. The Suede may have started as a sports warm-up shoe, but it got busy off the court when hip-hop was born in the Bronx where it danced in the streets and hit stages around the world, remixed by new school legends solidifying its status as certified fresh #ForAllTime.
The B-boy Pack is made up of PUMA Suedes, T7 Track Suits, Tees and Accessories in OG styles and three colourways that are unisex and, for both adults and kids.
Fellas can pick from Black, Flame Scarlet and Forrest Green-Peacoat.
Fly girls can choose from Red Dahlia, Spiced Coral and Blue Indigo.
While the kids can kick it in Black, Flame Scarlet and Forrest Green.
All B-boy Suedes come with the trademark thick grippy rubber outsoles perfect for power moves in dance battles and the fat laces fastened by gold name-plate locks make these babies legit breaker material. The kicks will be housed in a special edition Suede 50 shoebox with metallic gold details and branding.
