All-American brand Calvin Klein bids adieu to Calvin Klein Collection and welcome CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC (the brand’s headquarter address on West 39th Street, New York) with the debut of its Fall 2017 global multimedia advertising campaign. Photographed by Willy Vanderperre, the campaign captured eclectic mix of fresh faces aka the new muses posing against billboards of the previous campaign CALVIN KLEIN: American Classics which include works by prolific artist Andy Warhol in Mojave Desert, California.
Chief Creative Officer Raf Simons and Creative Director Pieter Mulier envision an outsider’s cinematic and romantic perspective of America in exploration of art and artifice, of reality and fantasy, the crossover of high fashion universe and everyday life for the striking advertising campaign. The release CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC begins an exciting new chapter of a cinematic ode to American heritage, its pageantry and its poignancy.
The first CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC collection bring about refreshing vitality of power broker tailoring, marching band uniforms, plastic coated outerwear, antique handcrafted quilting, workwear, and western wear for Fall 2017. The range also introduces a new designer line housed under CALVIN KLEIN 205W39NYC, CALVIN KLEIN JEANS ESTABLISHED 1978, especially for denim in which Raf Simons references a form inspired by the iconic Richard Avedon image taken of actress Brooke Shields for Calvin Klein Jeans in 1981 and applied it to an exclusive patch seen throughout the entire line.
