Following the revampment of its R-System (short for Running System), PUMA introduces its latest RS-0 model “RS-0 PLAY” – a future retro silhouette inspired by video games and arcades from the 1980s at JD Sports Pavilion Kuala Lumpur last Saturday.
Blending the aesthetics found in video games with the comfort of a running shoe, the RS-0 PLAY features leather upper with perforated vamp and a tonal embossed Formstrip. Padded inserts in poppy colours reminiscent of game console buttons are added on the midsole while the outsole packs a punch with fancy colour-blocking design. Sealing everything is the R-System logos present on the tongue and outsole.
It was all fun and games at the RS-0 PLAY Activation station held at JD Sports Pavilion Kuala Lumpur where gaming zones consisting of air-hockey, PS4 and dart machines were set-up for participants to flaunt their skills. Local rapper Aman RA, former Miss Universe Malaysia Vanessa Tevi, social media influencer Jason Goh and B-Boy dancer Khenobu were there to join the immersive experience behind the RS-0 PLAY pack with the attendees.
PUMA RS-0 PLAY retails at RM563.00 and is now available at PUMA KLCC, Sunway Pyramid, Pavilion, The Gardens, IOI City, Aeon Tebrau and JD Sports’ stores. Follow @pumamy for all RS-0 updates and check #PUMAMY #RS0 for more on PUMA’s stories of reinvention.
