Fashion is ever changing and to take a step to prevent more fashion waste and keep it sustainable, Carousell held a ‘Waste To Wear Fashion’ Workshop with popular stylist, Min Luna yesterday. Min Luna gave some great tips on how we can style the clothes that you can find on Carousell and the ones we might already have in our closets to numerous type of outfits.
Red Fashion
Red is a strong colour so to make red work for your outfit, add a touch of nude or neutral colour to your outfit.
70s Chic
It was all about the bell bottoms and flower power so to modernize the look, play with the colours such as pairing one warm colour top with cool colours such as green and blues or mute down a bold print with some nude colours.
Quick Silver
Silver is great to colour to add with a simple outfit like a silver tee with white jeans or a white tee with silver jeans. When pairing with a hijab, use a neutral shade like a dusty blue or nude shade.
90s Fashion
Mixing prints and textures were big in the 90’s especially floral and velvet. Don’t be afraid to add a touch of print and velvet to your outfits.
Recycling your old clothes and looking for unique pieces is not so hard with the help of Carousell.
