Yesterday marks the official launch of the first O bag store in Malaysia and located at the popular 1Utama Shopping Centre, now you can make your way there to customize your own bags, watches, purses and more!
Established in Italy in 2009, O bag debuted at the Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2010 which then shot the brand to where it is today with its presence in over 50 countries and in more than 240 stores.
Fashioned from ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) rubber, the brand was created by Full Spot, an Italian company based in Padua that entered the international fashion and design market in 2009.
“O bag is a design-focused brand. It is innovative, versatile, playful and colourful. All products are created with the intention for them to be personalised with interchangeable accessories. It allows individuals to express their personality by offering them a variety of choices to coordinate, to mix and match in order to create quirky styles and unique combinations,” said Shannon Chua, Director of Halo Retail Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of O bag in Malaysia.
Imagine being able to customise your fashion accessories to the fullest depending on your mood and your unique style. From bags to watches to sunglasses, to the bag straps and inserts, the possibilities are endless.
Among the key fashion accessories you can find in the store are the O bag, O clock, O sun and O bracelet. There are ranges for men too such as the O folder and O hug men.
“We are planning to open more O bag boutiques in the future and to make it easier for our customers to shop for their O bags and accessories, we are in the works of providing an online shopping service,” said Shannon Chua.

Today, O bag can be found in over 160 stores throughout Italy and more than 80 outlets in approximately 50 countries.
