Sergio Rossi Fall Winter 2016 collection is derived from glamorous retro inspirations – suffused lighting and glittering crystals evoke the cheerful atmosphere of celebrity nights in the most famous and exclusive clubs of the 20’s and 30’s, by celebrating a woman with a magnetic charm.
Solid and round silhouettes are enhanced by precious materials and virtuous techniques, as shown in the platform heel enveloping the shoe upper in a single piece and embracing it with petals as in the Art Deco style.
Boots and ankle boots sinuously envelop the body. Mary Jane styles fit the feet with the basics of thin ankle strap d’Orsay pumps and embrace the ankle with femininity. Cage sandals with laser shoe uppers show amazing color contrasts, where chartreuse green and tangerine red stand out.
At night, glitter sparkles and the embroidery of jet sequins on soft velvet shines. Colored mink bands make the sandals more special and eccentric.
