Sneaker Con, a.k.a The Greatest Sneaker Show on Earth, makes its foray into Southeast Asia and will make its debut at the Singapore Expo in April 2023, before making its way across the region for a wide variety of communities to experience the immersive world of sneakers and street culture.
Since its inception in 2009, Sneaker Con has since celebrated the love for rare designs, coveted drops, and grail-worthy releases by holding over 100 events in over 40 cities around the globe. With the inaugural Sneaker Con SEA taking place in Singapore, the high-octane event aims to attract sneakerheads from around Southeast Asia and bridge the gap between regional and global brands and designers.
“The first Sneaker Con SEA in Singapore is going to be the beginning of a Southeast Asian journey for us and the community out there. We are going to bring influencers, creators and most importantly the sneaker community together for this special occasion, and it’s going to be wild,” said Alan Vinogradov, Sneaker Con cofounder.
Sneaker Con SEA 2023 Highlights
The highly sought-after creative visionary, Jeff Staple, founder of his namesake brand STAPLE, will make his inaugural appearance at Sneaker Con SEA 2023. With accolades such as master of streetwear, entrepreneur of youth culture under his belt, be sure to catch the fashion ideologist.
Mark Ong, better known as Mr Sabotage, celebrates 20 years of SBTG at Sneaker Con SEA 2023. SBTG has collaborated with renowned international brands including Nike, DC Shoes, New Balance, Puma, Asics, Reebok, New Era, Helinox, Medicom Bearbrick, G-Shock, Canon, Johnnie Walker, IWC, DBS Bank and many more.
Paying homage to local street culture, the savant of style, Mandeep Chopra, commemorates 20 years of shaping Singapore’s sneaker scene into a streetwear capital. Through numerous disruptive collaborations, Limited Edt elevated the allure of sneakers and raised the bar of creativity to uncharted levels.
One of the juggernauts of Indonesia’s urban streetwear, Ageless Galaxy, better known as AGLXY, will be producing exclusive limited-edition merchandise for Sneaker Con SEA 2023. Much like Sneaker Con’s journey into Southeast Asia, AGLXY’s hallmark designs underline the exploratory aspect of street culture in foreign territory.
Aside from the already jam-packed highlighting events, Sneaker Con SEA is lining up two full days of fun-filled activities for street culture aficionados.
