Timberland relaunched its revamped store in Mid Valley Megamall yesterday in conjunction with its latest season theme “Heritage Reimagined”. The new revamped store features Asia’s first “workshop” integrated store concept which was designed to create a sensory an experiential journey of discovery, intricately crafted to inform, inspire and engage its fans. It’s an effort of the brand to shift focus towards providing lifestyle footwear and apparel to the “Outdoor Lifestyler” consumer.
The upgraded store features a craft display area and a workbench where customers can gather around as they get their boots customised and customers may select preferred lace colours and even choose to have their initials sewn onto their shoes. Another new interesting feature is the social hub where customers are encouraged to engage and interact with the store’s staff.
However, the heart of the workshop is the “Boot Room” – a semi-defined space that features the bulk of Timberland’s heritage which is their footwear.
During the relaunch yesterday, media friends were treated to a preview of the brand’s latest collection – The Harvest Gold Collection which honours its roots by reimanaging its classic silhouettes with quietly expressed technology and newly refines styles.
