An icon in the world of watchmaking, Tissot presented House of Tissot, a showcase of the Swiss brand latest novelties at Suria KLCC – the first Southeast Asia has ever seen and the largest exhibition the watchmaker has hosted to date.
In celebration of the grand exhibition, Tissot welcomed guests to a cocktail party emceed by Amelia Henderson in the sprawling 2,785 square feet space which held five unique rooms with different environments inspired by the house’s genius innovation and century-old tradition. There’s the The Classic Room where the distinct, timeless timepieces were carefully displayed, The Sport Garage which paid tribute to its commitment with the sporting world, The Tactile Terrasse where guests get to discover a brief history of how the brand came to be, The Heritage Room which is all about exquisite contemporary style as well as The Ladies Dressing Room where the best selections for women were showcased.
Each room was curated to suit different lifestyle and individuals’ preferences without compromising on design or reliability that Tissot has shown since 1853. Among the timepieces shown were: Touch Collection, T-Sport, T-Lady, T-Classic, Heritage, T-Gold, T-Pocket and Special Collections.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Werner Bardill, Deputy Head of Mission from Embassy of Switzerland in Malaysia, Ms. Kim Lim, Vice President of Tissot Malaysia and Mr. Francis Tan, Chief Operating Officer of Suria KLCC. Also in attendance were watch enthusiasts, style makers, influencers and members of the media who were given the opportunity to try on the timepieces as DJ Ethan Curzon entertained the crowd with his lively set.
The House of Tissot exhibition ran from 9th to 15th August 2018 at Centre Court, Concourse Level, Suria KLCC.
