UNIQLO launches a special 2016 Spring Summer collection created with French fashion icon Ines de La Fressange. The collection will first debut at UNIQLO Fahrenheit 88 and on its online site, today, January 8.
The 82-item collection comprises three lines – Voyage, Le Sport and Uniforme that make it easy for women to look good wherever they are throughout spring and summer. Voyage features safari styling, Le Sport showcases classic tennis and sports club looks, and Uniforme refines Ines’ basic jacket ethos.
Voyage
The Voyage line features feminine styling with an adventurous edge, safari jacket and short pants styles underscoring the refreshing look. Fabrics were specially developed to complement soft feminine skin.
Le Sport
This eye-catching range effortlessly transports traditional sports club styling into refreshingly modern contexts, and includes polo shirts, cricket sweaters, and cordlane jackets.
Uniforme
Ines is renowned for her love of jackets, and she and UNIQLO Design Director Naoki Takizawa devoted particular attention to the items in this collection, one being a jacket employing seersucker material. This season sees beige and olive pieces augment navy and white ones.
