UNIQLO U Natural Elements-Inspired SS18 Collection Will Launch On January 26th

UNIQLO announced that it will be launching its Spring/Summer 2018 UNIQLO U collection on January 26th next year. The collection will offer nature-inspired colours and will be constructed in slightly supersize shapes that’s worth noting.

Designed for everyone, everywhere, the selection encapsulates the LifeWear DNA – to create top-notch apparel with universal appeal and ultimate comfort. Brought to you by the design team at the UNIQLO Paris R&D Center led by Artistic Director Christophe Lemaire, the range features reworked basics with development in design, patterns, fabric and sewing techniques and will run from size S to XXL. Selected pieces in XS through 4XL sizes will be sold online together with XXL size.

Look forward to brilliant shades of sky and sea blues as well as forest and grass greens with occasional orange, red accents. Stripes and borders added visual impact as evidenced in one of the key pieces for women’s line – the Open Collar Shirt featuring thick stripes. Among the focus of the men’s range is a multicolor Border T-shirt employing heavyweight cotton.

This season’s line will include coats that’s equipped with exceptional water resistance, windproofing, and breathability. The women’s BLOCKTECH Short Coat is both comfortable and stylish as townwear, employing a drawstring waist and a matte finish. The new men’s BLOCKTECH coat employs chambray twill fabric that is water repellent and windproofed, combining a clean silhouette with excellent all-weather protection.

The new range also enhances the look and feel of the previous seasonal items by adopting high twist cotton fabric in two new women’s items: one is the 3D Ribbed Balloon Sweater with distinctive cuff and waist styling, and the other is the 3D Crew Neck Balloon Dress, whose fit and flare silhouette enhances femininity. There will be six new swimwear items launched, all with minimal seams to enhance comfort. Expect bandeau bikini with removable straps, a halter neck bikini and a bicolor bikini.
