Doja Cat, the global superstar and style icon, has become the first-ever Skechers Artist-in-Residence! The GRAMMY award-winning global superstar is now part of the Skechers Uno campaign, drawing inspiration from Y2K, cyberpunk and anime aesthetics.
The campaign features two opposing personalities of the artist battling each other in the signature Skechers style. Doja Cat’s creative director, Brett Alan Nelson, was inspired by the idea of the different Uno colours and which one gives the most power. The ultimate theme is that in the end, they will never follow another’s footsteps.
This campaign is just the start of what they have been creating and Doja Cat looks forward to sharing more. Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers, stated that Doja Cat brings a unique perspective to their organization as an artist in both the music and fashion worlds.
