For its new eyewear and watches collection campaign, Versace links up with Italian film director Luca Finotti to produce “The Manifesto of Versace” – a unison of love, equality, strength, diversity, power and courage.
“No matter who we are or where we come from, this is what I believe today’s society should be all about. Let’s stand together in harmony and respect”, said Donatella Versace about the value and inspiration behind the black and white film.

A celebration of diversity of love, the deeply emotive imagery shows that action speaks louder than words: two hands that find each other and two lips that lock in a loving. The models performed a dance that resembles the bucolic rituals of the mythical nymphs while the intertwined fingers in a V-like sign represents the V of Versace and a symbol of unity and strength.
The Medusa, an icon synonymous with the label, is carved in stone and takes us back to ancient Greek era where it is used as a temple decoration. With all the values combined, The Manifesto of Versace is the ultimate emblem of strength and empowerment.
