Vans has announced that they will be releasing an exclusive capsule collection in collaboration with iconic fashion designer, KARL LAGERFELD for Fall 2017 and we’ve got the deets for you sneakerheads. From Old Skool to the Classic Slip-On, the collection features six reinterpreted Vans’ classic footwear alongside six streetwear apparel in none other than the fashion house signature black and white.
Synonymous for its glorious Parisian chic, the offering is exactly how we imagined it would be if KARL LAGERFELD were to create a streetwear label – cool and classy. The 12-piece collection includes a t-shirt with an image of Karl Lagerfeld wearing a checkerboard tie, t-shirt and sweatshirt with the Vans x KARL LAGERFELD logo, a black and white raglan sleeve bomber, a premium leather backpack with K-quilted stitching and a cap with a checkerboard brim.
The footwear, on the other hand, brings a laceless update to the Old Skool Platform and SK8-Hi Platform, both outfitted in luxe leather with K-quilted stitching atop white platform soles. Another classic, the legendary black and white Checkerboard Classic Slip-On is given a new look with a Vans x KARL LAGERFELD cameo print which is rather a genius use of the infamous head logo. The assortment also includes the Old Skool and Sk8-Hi Reissue with premium leather uppers that have been outfitted with bouclé fabric quarter-panels atop a black outsole and a solid black leather Classic Slip-On finished with K-quilted details.

The Vans x KARL LAGERFELD Capsule Collection will be available at Vans KLCC starting 7th September 2017 and online at Vans and KARL LAGERFELD web stores.
