Raya open houses are incomplete without several balang of kuih to serve guests! Besides the usual favourites such as semprit or cornflake cookies, every year there are more innovative and creative variations of kuih Raya on offer.
However, instead of new kuih, have you tasted those elusive traditional kuih that are fast vanishing? Those with interesting names such as Bunga Pudak and Kacau Keledek? These heritage kuih from the West Coast are increasingly rare, and can nowadays only be found in certain specialty shops in their origin State.
