The Exchange TRX has launched its first-ever Deepavali celebration, Symphony of Lights, transforming Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant new hub into a dazzling spectacle that honors Malaysia’s rich, multicultural heritage. Running through 3 November 2024, the event invites the public to enjoy captivating light displays, traditional cultural performances, and unique retail and dining experiences curated especially for the festival.
This celebration underscores The Exchange TRX’s dedication to promoting inclusivity and unity within Malaysia’s diverse cultural landscape. In paying homage to Deepavali, Symphony of Lights captures the festival’s essence with intricate kolam displays, lively dances, and a warm, communal spirit.
The Symphony of Lights centerpiece—a stunning light installation located at the Ground Floor near Uniqlo and MUJI—features an illuminated peacock tail, symbolizing beauty, prosperity, and renewal. Enhanced by gentle bokeh lights, the installation’s glow echoes traditional Deepavali oil lamps, embodying the festival’s themes of light and new beginnings.
In addition, visitors can enjoy traditional performances each weekend, including the classical Odissi dance, the elegant Peacock Dance, and the captivating Diya Dance, which all reflect the vibrant spirit of Deepavali.
Guests are invited to explore the festive décor throughout The Exchange TRX, featuring intricately designed kolams and a lively retail and dining scene. Special Deepavali-themed menus at select restaurants elevate the celebration with flavors that honor the season. Shoppers can find new festive attire and thoughtful gifts for loved ones while enjoying an enhanced, celebratory atmosphere.
The Exchange TRX encourages guests to join the Instagram contest by sharing their best comments on the official post. The most creative entries will win exciting prizes, including dining vouchers from Saffron and Spices, and gifts from Lovely Lace.
Throughout the campaign, visitors who spend a minimum of RM 1,500 (or RM 1,200 with UOB Cards) across two receipts will receive a Lovely Lace scented candle and exclusive Deepavali packets. Additionally, UOB cardholders spending RM 600 in a single receipt can redeem RM 60 in Seibu cash vouchers.
