1. Oh Cha Matcha
Oh Cha Matcha snow skin mooncakes are back with new flavours this year. The four new flavours are Matcha Mung Bean (Matcha Snow Skin), Hojicha Mung Bean (Purple Sweet Potato Snow Skin), Genmaicha Mung Bean (Blue Spirulina Snow Skin) and Matcha Mung Bean (Beetroot Snow Skin).

2. Valen’s Patisserie
Inspired by fascinating space missions and exploration to the moon, Valen’s Patisserie introduces the “Fly Me to the Moon” chocolate mooncakes featuring an imaginary modern illustration of the Jade Bunny in outer space, finding his way to the moon.
The ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ chocolate mooncakes are presented in a limited edition box of four, come in pre-set flavours, each with its own imaginary illustrative planet design – the planet MR, planet YU-GEN, the Planet CHOFEE and Planet HAZEL, inspired the chocolate mooncake flavours. The four (4) chocolate mooncakes feature three (3) new unconventional flavours, featuring Japanese tea and fruit combinations the “Matcha Raspberry” and “Yuzu Genmaicha”. There is also a flavour for coffee fans, the “Chocolate Coffee” flavour that is made with imported premium Japanese Arabica coffee. This year, Crème De La Crème mooncakes are conceptualised to tell the story and legends of the Mid-Autumn Festival with a delicious modern twist in taste, each piece of mooncake is unique in design and flavour profile as it represents a different key component of the story. The mooncakes are packaged in a mooncake box with modern-ancient illustrations design.
Crème De La Crème mooncakes feature four adorable designs and flavours:
- Hou Yi the Archer – Pear ice cream, Pear & dried longan compote, Orange rosemary sorbet & Sakura feuilletine;

Centering on the concept of reunion (Tuán Yuán), Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur will feature local fashion designer, Melinda Looi, in an exclusive #GHKLxML collaboration for their mooncake series this year. The mooncakes, which is crafted with noteworthy flavours courtesy of their native master chefs, are encased in an avant-garde designer packaging curated by Melinda herself.
Encasing the velvety mooncakes, the packaging design features ‘The Grand Gambit’, which serves well as a 2-in-1 game board or a decorative ornament; while ‘The Jade Tote’ comes together as an additional multi-purpose tote bag that resembles the Jade Rabbit from the Mid-Autumn folklore with the hotel’s element embedded in its design.

Making an exciting debut this year, The Westin Desaru Coast Resort unveils its first-ever exquisite selection of delicately handcrafted mooncakes, presented in an elegant lantern-inspired box. The homemade mooncakes are baked in traditional flavors with a modern twist and come in 4 flavors – the Lotus Paste with Double Yolk, Red Bean Paste, Green Tea with Single Yolk, and Pandan Custard.
