Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Guardian Malaysia has drawn up plans to stay as the market leader – which include conducting various research to further understand customers’ lifestyle and needs better, a BFF (BEST FRIEND FOREVER) training programme whereby they will send their staff from Store Support Office to the stores for three days, to better understand how to serve customers better, according to Mr. Soren Lauridsen, Chief Executive Officer of Guardian Health And Beauty Sdn Bhd, (Guardian Malaysia) at a press conference held on July 13, at the Weld, the location where its history began.
In conjunction with its 50th anniversary, Guardian Malaysia is running an anniversary promotion, in partnership with Petron, Jotun, the Makeover Guys and Kuvings, that gives shoppers the opportunity to win a home makeover package.
To participate, customers need to spend RM10 and above in a single receipt at any Guardian store, fill up personal details, and answer three simple questions. Or, spend at Petron stations a minimum of RM10 on RON 95, RON 97 or RON 100, with a valid Petron Miles Privilege Card.
For Guardian Malaysia, anniversaries are also traditionally celebrated by giving back to the community, through its Anniversary Charity Project. This year, it is continuing this tradition by helping 10 charity homes, including seven orphanages, around the country to get a makeover. The project, to be completed in six months’ time, is expected to help improve the living environment for at least 500 children in these homes.
