Entertainment channel AXN has unveiled 11 fearless teams who are all excited to compete for USD $100,000 in the race of a lifetime across Asia – Amazing Race Asia Season 5.
Particularly, Malaysia is represented by three teams: friends Yvonne and Chloe; brothers Alex and Will, and old school mates Brandon and Alphaeus.
Here are three energetic duos from Malaysia.
Senior Vice Presidnet and General Manager, Sony Pictures Television Networks Asia, Ang Hui Keng, said, “We’re thrilled with the 11 teams because they all embody AXN’s brand personality, which is passionate, determined, unexpected and high octane.”
He continued, “This is not just a show, it’s an adrenaline fuelled adventure for everyone involved, including our viewers.”
The 11 chosen teams hail from seven countries across Asia, come with different personalities, backgrounds, talents and relationships. Some of them are travel hosts, radio DJs, siblings, beauty queens, and life partners, so we will see a very different take on the races from each pair.
Season 5 of Amazing Race Asia will be hosted by Asian-American actor Allan Wu, who is the face for Amazing Race Asia’s first four seasons.
