The stage of Face Of Malaysia 2016 Grand Finale was heated up with special guest performance by the new and upcoming Korean boy group, Bigflo, who showed off their charm as they jammed to the upbeat song and showed off their incredible dance moves at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on Monday evening.
Bigflo is a boy group of six members: Jung-kyun, Ron, Yoo-seong, Z-UK, HighTop and Ki-chun, and had made their debut in 2014 with the first EP “First Flow”. They boys were also the winner of New Hallyu Celebrities of the night.
Face Of Malaysia 2016 Grand Finale
The Grand Finale of Face Of Malaysia 2016, which was organised by Korea Model Association (KMA), was aimed to select 3 female and 3 male models from 8 male and 8 female finalists, respectively, to represent Malaysia to compete with models from 20 other Asian countries in the “Asia New Star Model Contest” in Korea next month.
The 16 finalists, who survived through 5 rounds of elimination prior to the Grand Finale, strutted down the runway of the evening in a few rounds of catwalk to battling it out to be crowned winners.
After a few rounds of competition through the catwalking, Ash Tan Jee Yie , 24 and Kate Chan Kate Tin, 27, both from Johor, were named 2016 Face of Malaysia winners for female and male categories respectively.
The 1st runners up were Mohammad Haridz, 21 and Liliana Fernandez, 19.
The 2nd runners up went to Seamus Lim, 27 and Mindy Chan, 21.
The lineup of judges included, among others, the Chairman of KMA, Ms. Raulen, the CEO of Raulen & Co and director of KMA, and the catwalk instructor for Face of Malaysia 2016 TOP 30 Models, and Director Chang, a well-known movie director from Korea.

Malaysia Top 10 Celebrities Awards
The Grand Finale was star studded with the appearance of some local sensation and celebrities such Carmen Soo, Steve Yap, Peter Davis, Josh Kua, Natalia Tang Ling, Rain Chan, Tasha Shilla, Danny One, JC Chee and Yasmin Hani, who were the winners of Malaysia Top 10 Celebrities Awards that was presented at the evening too.
