ZALORA launches the first ever regional model scouting competition using social media – Make Me a ZALORA Model #MMAZM to scout for fresh new faces from August 3 until September 13, 2016. Make Me a ZALORA Model is an opportunity for aspiring models to fast track their career and become the newest face in the modelling scene.
What are the contestant eligibility requirements?
Female aged 18 to 25 years old from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and Philippines are invited to join the contest.
How to take part?
Take a selfie and/or an Outfit of The Day (OOTD), upload photo(s) to Instagram with hashtag #MMAZM and tag @zaloramy from August 3 until September 13, 2016. Contestants can upload an unlimited number of different photos but strictly no photo-editing or face modifying using mobile apps.
What are the prizes?
The winner of Make Me a ZALORA Model will walk away with attractive prizes including a chance to be represented by one of the top Singapore modelling agency, UpFront Models, a 3-month paid modelling contract with ZALORA to be based in Malaysia, a ZALORA wardrobe and be featured in fashion editorial spread in ZALORA Magazine as well as ZALORA campaign.
In addition to the grand prize, there will be weekly winners whereby participants with the best photo will be picked as the Model of the Week and win exclusive prizes ranging from beauty products to fashion accessories. At the end of the weekly cycle, six Model of the Week winners will emerge as the semi-finalists and be flown to Singapore for the grand finale where the first Make Me a ZALORA Model winner will be announced.
The contestants must be available to fly to Singapore for Grand Finale from September 27 to 29, 2016, available to be on contract with ZALORA for 3 months and represented by UpFront Models. Semi-finalists need to be available for a video interview and to visit the ZALORA office.
