In conjunction with the month of Raya, Malaysian oil and gas company Petronas’ Coffee Break campaign is back this year to help improve the fun for people who are heading back to their hometowns. The purpose of this Coffee Break campaign is to promote road safety by encouraging drivers to stay alert on their drive home.
There will be a total of 147 participating Petronas participating stations involved this time around. The Krew Petronas will serve a total of 900,000 cups of freshly brewed hot coffee and an assortment of snacks on July 2-3 from 6pm onwards and on July 9-10 from 3pm onwards.
Do remember to drop by its fuel service stations for some coffee and snacks to ease the fatigue from the traffic jam and driving.
Mohd Ibrahimnuddin Mohd Yunus, MD and CEO of Petronas Dagangan Berhad said, “Over the years, Petronas Coffee Break has become a campaign synonymous with the ‘balik kampung’ travelling period and our customers look forward to it every time. In response to the positive feedback received, we have increased the number of participating stations since the last campaign as well as the amount and variety of goodies to be given away.”
Besides giving out the goodies, the Petronas Coffee Break will also provide safety-related services such as 20-point safety inspections on Proton cars. Have a safe journey and enjoy your refreshments for free on your way home!
