World premier zombie-infested obstacle course Run For Your Lives which billed itself as “The Original Zombie Infested 5k Obstacle Race” returns to Malaysia this year at Taman Botani Putrajaya. This is the third time that #RFYL will be held in Malaysia. Last year the event took place in Penang at the Penang Botanic Gardens.
The event will be happening on December 31st which participants will — apart from dodging Zombies — have to complete a 5km obstacle course/adventure run — all while avoiding zombies.
The premise behind the game is that a zombie apocalypse has plagued the world, caused by an unknown virus. Participants can pick to either run for their lives as a ‘Survivor’ (human) and dodge the zombies, or pose as Zombies themselves and hunt for human.
The tickets are priced at RM 69 and the entitlement includes wrist tag, t-shirt, and medal. If you opt to be zombie there will be professional makeup artists work their magic to “zombify” you.
Delon Leong, the founder of Dusty Monkeys (the organiser of Run For Your Lives Malaysia) said, “We’re truly excited about bringing back Run For Your Lives to Malaysia.
