Sneakerlah, Malaysia’s biggest and most anticipated sneaker lifestyle convention, is back with its 4th edition in a new 60,000 sqf home at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC) on this October 6th and 7th, 2018.
Attendees this year are in for a treat and can expect a range of activities and attractions, such as:
- a display of Malaysia’s biggest Supreme collection;
- a display of an extensive adidas EQT collection of more than 150 pairs;
- skateboarding competitions;
- demos at an indoor mini ramp;
- sneaker customization sessions by the world-renowned SBTG.
Attendees can also check out products and upcoming releases by international brands like Vans, Converse, Puma, Timberland, and also local names like Stoned & Co. and Major Drop, all of which and many more will be participating in Sneakerlah. One of the biggest draws remain the Sneakerlah marketplace, where attendees can purchase, sell and trade the hottest and rarest sneakers and streetwear items on the market right now with more than 60 vendors setting up shop at the convention.
Sneakerlah staples such as the sneaker lacing competition and trading pit for attendees to auction and trade their sneakers remain on the agenda while this year sees an addition of select f&b vendors and a chillout section where attendees can take a break from the action. As usual, Sneakerlah will also feature musical performances on stage, this year by the likes of local rap heavyweight Aman RA, DJs such as Blink, Curzon and Nazkimo, and also special performances by Raising The Bar artists Kayda, A-Kid, and more.
AirAsia – Sneakerlah’s Official Airline partner – will also be giving out complimentary flights to Japan when visitors participate in the event’s lucky draw, social media contests and activities at their booth. Official Sponsor Vespa will be launching 3 new products which are the Vespa Primavera MY’18, Vespa Sprint MY’18 and Vespa GTS 300 Super Sport at Sneakerlah. A special launch event is planned to happen within the event on Saturday, 6 October at 2:00 pm. Vespa will also provide 3 bikes to be won via the Sneakerlah lucky draw and a social media contest.
Attendees are encouraged to show up in their best OOTDs and most hype sneakers as acclaimed streetwear photographer Shafiq Saleh (@shafiqanaksaleh) and his team will be there to shoot the event.
