WWE Southeast Asia announced on their Twitter account that they are coming to Manila, Philippines for a Live Event on this coming September 9, Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
This is an amazing news for all WWE’s South East Asian fans as the company rarely conduct events at Asian countries. The event is also easily accessible for WWE fans from other countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and other Asean counties.
No news yet on the final line-up, but according to the official ticketing website, fans can expect to see Roman Reigns, The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingstone and Xiaver Woods), Charlotte, Kane, AJ Styles, Kevin Owen, Sasha Banks, Tyler Breeze, Neville, Bo Dallas and Zack Ryder.
“WWE is excited to return to the Philippines, giving WWE’s passionate fans the chance to see their favourite Superstars in an energetic, larger-than-life event, for the first time in seven years,” said Gerrit Meier, WWE President, International.
He continued,”WWE Live Manila will deliver the same non-stop action and family fun that fans know and love from our TV programs on FOX Philippines and WWE Network.”
“Dainty Group Asia & Wilbros Live are thrilled to bring WWE Live back to Manila,” said Paul Dainty, Founder and Executive Chairman of Dainty Group. “This one-night only show is a must-attend event for families to experience pure adrenaline.”
Do note that this show is a Live Event, a.k.a House Show and will not be airing on television or on the WWE network.
