Circa, Royal Selangor’s collection for the modern tabletop takes its cue from the mid-century modern design of the 1950s.
Echoing the style preference for fusing organic and manmade materials, the bold elegance quality of Circa pieces are revealed in a combination of pewter accents and the dark purple- brown tones of Kulim wood. The ‘stripes’ series features another iteration of Circa — a striking pairing of Kulim wood with the pale cream shades of rubber wood, finished with pewter.
Cheese boards and cheese knives headline the collection. The Circa collection makes a dramatic serving platform for a carefully curated cheese platter — while small pewter trays serve as place holders for fruits, nuts and other complements. Circa trays are ideal for serving hors d’oeuvres, desserts or refreshments.
The collection also includes bottle coasters, salad servers, bowls, spice mills, wine chillers, salt & pepper shakers and vases that add a touch of bold colour to any table setting.
