Marina Bay Sands is ushering in the prosperous Year of the Rooster with a line-up of culinary specials, retail indulgence, and choc-a-bloc festive entertainment across the integrated resort, starting 16 January 2017.
This year, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands has transformed the Grand Colonnade South into a boulevard reminiscent of blooming gardens in Spring, which features a canopy of cherry blossoms and warmly lit lanterns cascading over a walkway, where visitors can view a display of oriental inspired apparel from leading retailers at The Shoppes, as well as their 2017 zodiac readings.

Social Media Contest – “Good Things Come in Pairs”
From 11 January to 30 January 2017, fans are invited to submit an original photo or video composition, along with a suitable caption of what they think best depicts a perfect match with hashtag #ProsPAIRity and tag @marinabaysands via http://bit.ly/ProsPAIRity.
Each week, the top five creative entries will be selected. Four fans will win a dining experience weekly, and the fan with the most creative entry for the week will win a one-night hotel stay at Marina Bay Sands, as well as a dining experience at one of its restaurants, including Adrift, db Bistro & Oyster Bar, and Long Chim.
Late-night shopping and attractive offers at The Shoppes
The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is business as usual from the eve of Chinese New Year through to 30 January, with a host of attractive shopping offers and daily complimentary parking from now until 12 February 2017.

In addition to a scrumptious line-up of Chinese New Year delights at celebrity chef restaurants – including Adrift by David Myers, db Bistro & Oyster Bar by Daniel Boulud, Osteria Mozza by Mario Batali, Sky on 57 by Justin Quek, and Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay – shoppers now have even more reasons to dine at Marina Bay Sands with the recent addition of well-loved food & beverage brands IPPUDO and Canton Paradise.
Entertainment at Marina Bay Sands
Catch the Lion Dance performance at Marina Bay Sands’ Tower 1 Hotel Lobby on 30 January 2017 at 10.38am. The performance will continue to various parts of the integrated resort, including ArtScience Museum, The Shoppes, the MasterCard Theatres and Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
Visitors can also enjoy the following shows at Marina Bay Sands during the CNY period:
- Shanghai Tango (19 January 2017) – a one-night only production at the MasterCard Theatres featuring an intricate blend of East and West dance choreography by award-winning dance choreographer Jin Xing;
- Sylvia (20 and 21 January 2017) – a classic Broadway comedy by American playwright A.R Gurney, will also be staged at the Theatres; and
- Deadly 60 Pole to Pole (3 to 5 February 2017) – Based on the hit BBC Earth series, Backshall will be sharing his encounters with some of the deadliest creatures from all corners of the globe.
Double Rewards
From 16 January to 5 February 2017, members of Marina Bay Sands’ loyalty programme, Sands Rewards LifeStyle (SRL), will earn double rewards at over 200 participating outlets spanning shopping, dining, entertainment, hotel and more. Members also get to enjoy 1-for-1 entry to ArtScience Museum and the Sands SkyPark observation deck from 16 January up until 28 February 2017.
