This festive season, not all heroes wear capes as Nu Skin Malaysia returns with Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) to fulfil Christmas wishes and bring even more joy to underprivileged children across the country at its annual Wish List Party.
Nu Skin Wish List Party is a part of an expansion of the Nu Skin SEA Children’s Heart Fund,
where every November, underprivileged children were invited to write down their wishes on a card that will then be hung on a Christmas tree in Nu Skin distributor centres located Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru and Kuching. It is a yearly project in collaboration with IJN, which serves as a way for participating Nu Skin Malaysia distributors and staff members to give back to those who are in need.
“At Nu Skin, our mission is to be a force for good throughout the world by empowering people to improve lives with rewarding business opportunities, innovative products, and enriching, uplifting culture. And the Wish List Project enables each one of us, especially our Sales Leaders to exemplify this mission, giving back to the community,” said David Cheong, Nu Skin Malaysia & Brunei, General Manager.
This one-day gift presentation happens close to the festive season and the wishes come in
many variety such as toys, sport equipment and even now clothes. It is also an opportunity for the children to meet their respective benefactors.
“This initiative started with fulfilling less than 100 wishes back in 2011 but this year, we
managed to collect wishes of more than 500 children combined from Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru and Kuching!” Cheong added.
