Casio Malaysia officially released two brand new cameras – the EX-FR200 and the EX-ZR5000. Both of these cameras, while differing in features and form factor, are targeted at selfie enthusiasts.
Casio EX-FR200
The FR200 captures the entire 180-degree surrounding view, providing a Dome View picture with a press of a button, which is perfect for users who often go on exciting adventures in the great outdoors. Besides that, the camera can take 360-degree horizontal Panaroma photos and videos, as well as 208-degree diagonal Super Wide angle photos and videos.
Added to that, the camera is equipped with a 21.14-megapixel 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor paired with a 1.35mm f/2.8 aperture lens which gives the FR200 a super-wide fish eye field of view.
Casio EX-ZR5000
The EX-ZR5000 features an upgraded 19mm equivalent zoom lens with 5x optical zoom, perfect for fitting in scenic backgrounds even in ‘selfies’ and ‘wefies’.
The EX-ZR5000 also comes with the new Wide View Photo mode, which automatically creates a zoom to wide-angle animation,that is designed to capture wide-angled photos and deliver high-impact scenic photographs.
Moreover, the ZR5000 also has something that women would love, called ‘Makeup’ mode. It ‘fixes’ your face and gives you options to enhance your skin tone.
Present to launch the cameras was Malaysia’s number one female drifter, Leona Chin who shared her experience of using the FR200 during her travels as well as when capturing fast action moments in the car while she’s drifting.
The FR200 retails at RM2,399 while the ZR5000 retails at RM1,949 respectively. Both models are expected to be in the market by the end of October 2016.
