The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has officially opened applications for three key digital grants as part of the government’s push to enhance the country’s digital economy. The available grants include the Digital Content Grant (DCG) 2024/2025, Malaysia Digital Catalyst Grant (MDCG), and Malaysia Digital Export Grant (MDXG). Applications are open starting 9 September 2024.
The DCG supports creative content development in animation, games, digital comics, and more, with funding up to RM500,000 or 50% of project costs, whichever is lower. The MDCG and MDXG offer up to RM1 million each or 50% of project costs, whichever is lower, to foster digital innovation and expand Malaysian companies into global markets. Eligible companies are encouraged to apply.
Briefing sessions are scheduled in September and October 2024 as follows:
- 11 September 2024 (Wednesday): 10.30am | JOIN SESSION
- 24 September 2024(Tuesday): 10.30am | JOIN SESSION
