Hotels.com® Hotel Price Index ™ (HPI®) has recently identified vacation spots that travelers can visit offering equally exciting adventures on a budget. According to HPI®, in the first half of 2015, U.S. travelers paid an average of $164 a night for international hotel stays according to the HPI. In the first half of 2014, the average was $179 a night when going abroad.
Similarly, 13 out of the 15 unique locations below experienced a price drop this year in relation to the first six months of last year, and a third of these destinations experienced a substantial decrease of over a 10%. It’s become less expensive to get an adventure fix, or touch relaxation at some of these underestimated destinations around the world.
