Nobu Kuala Lumpur invites guests to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year with a symbolic prosperity toss blessed with Nobu’s touch of Japanese-Peruvian influence. Executive Chef Philip Leong and his kitchen team have prepared the Nobu Style Prosperity Platter as a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigour to celebrate the start of a prosperous 2020, Guests can experience an elevated Chinese New Year atmosphere through Nobu Kuala Lumpur’s famed Nobu style cuisine alongside a magnificent view of the city skyline.
The Nobu Style Prosperity Sashimi Platter, priced at RM188++ for two people, features fresh seafood ingredients such as Tuna, Yellowtail and Salmon sashimi, paired with auspicious ingredients such as cauliflower, asparagus, shitake mushrooms, red cabbage, pomelo, jackfruit, pink radish, sesame seeds, and a homemade sour plum sauce as the perfect mixer. A premium Lobster Platter version, priced at RM288++ for two people is also available, which features a whole lobster served in Nobu style instead of the sashimi.
After tossing to the start of a prosperous decade, guests and their families can enjoy a heart- warming and tantalising Chinese New Year hot dish, the New Year Hot Pot “Nabemono” Nobu Style, priced at RM288++ for two people. The New Year Hot Pot is inspired by “Poon Choi”, atraditional slow cook dish that is served in a sharing style and is most popular during festive seasons when the entire family comes together. Guests can look forward to a kombu and chicken stock based soup full of umami flavours, mixed with seasonal mushrooms, tofu, leeks, cabbage, abalone, as well as two selections of protein such as Wagyu Short Rib, Chicken, Freshwater Prawn and Scallop.
The Nobu Prosperity Platters and New Year Hot Pot are available from 11th January 2020 until 2nd February 2020.
Nobu Valentine’s Day-themed Menu
Nobu Kuala Lumpur also invites guests to celebrate and create passionate moments with their cherished ones this Valentine’s Day with a stunningly elegant Valentine Omakase menu infused with luxurious ingredients such as oysters, foie gras, uni, caviar and rose petals.
From 13th to 16th February 2020, impress your significant other with an indulgent 7-course Omakase, featuring a collection of gastronomical Valentine’s Day-themed dishes such as the fresh Smoked Oyster & Uni with Caviar, with Jalapeno Sauce and Goma Anticucho; the flavorful Wagyu Yamamomo Teriyaki, with Pickled Beetroot, Crosnes and Potato Soufflé, and the luscious Inaniwa Chuka with King Crab and Moromi Miso Sauce. The romantic meal ends with a beautifully plated Candied Rose Petals and Rose Mousse with Fresh Berries and Chocolate Jelly for that perfect touch to an everlasting love.
The Nobu Valentine Omakase menu is priced at RM550++ per person.
