This year, Levi’s returns with yet another heartfelt Ramadan campaign, anchored by a beautiful song and music video entitled Aksimu Berbicara – a profound anthem written and composed by Noh Salleh and Daiyan Trisha. Taking inspiration from their own personal experiences and shared principles, the song showcases how the intrinsic values we hold can manifest into acts of kindness, empathy and compassion.
“It is almost impossible to measure the life we live in. The world is a work in progress. It is up to us, as citizens of the world, to stay true to ourselves and take action to make it a better place. What matters most is living life with conviction. Aksimu Berbicarais a simple message to encourage our audiences to do things with passion and compassion. No matter our upbringing and location, what binds us as a community is the shared value of extending kindness, hope, courage and togetherness – the foundation of letting your actions speak,” enthused Daiyan.
Shot in idyllic Lombok, the music video features the journey of the two artistes in search of meaning, gratitude and community in the month of Ramadan, in a local village and its inhabitants who were affected by the recent earthquakes.
The new Levi’s Ramadan 2020 collection also made its first appearance in the Aksimu Berbicara music video, showcasing pastel-toned pieces that deliver on both comfort and style, with beautiful, flowy tops and bottoms that are made for the festive occasion.
