The Cologne Célesté, an essential composition in perfumery reinterpreted by Hedi Slimane, as well as a collection of bath and body products that faithfully recapture the Cologne Célesté’s olfactory signature. The candle collection features the Illuminations candle, which is a tribute to incense, the most ancient and universal raw material in perfumery.
Cologne Célèste: A Refreshing and Comforting Fragrance
The Cologne Célèste collection pays tribute to traditional eau de cologne and its heritage. The fragrance features a blend of citrus, floral, and aromatic notes, including neroli, sweet lemon essence, angelica, and amrette butter. The collection includes:
Illuminations Candle: A Tribute to Incense
Evoking the smoky, resinous ambience of California nights, the Illuminations candle pays homage to incense, the oldest and most widely used aromatic resin. Hedi Slimane’s memories of rock ‘n’ roll reverberating through a veil of incense inspired this captivating fragrance, which blends notes of incense, cistus labdanum, birch, and cedarwood. Housed in a faceted and block-tinted black glass holder, the candle is complemented by packaging adorned with paper resembling “grain de poudre” and embossed with a recreation of 17th-century molding. The Maison’s codes embellish the candle’s accessories, including candle snuffers, wick trimmers, and metal covers, available in polished silver or gold metal or in leather.
Both the Cologne Célèste collection and the Illuminations candle are beautifully packaged in bottles and boxes that reflect Celine’s signature style.
