Kiehl’s Malaysia marked the arrival of the Year of the Snake with a dazzling Lunar New Year celebration at Sunway Pyramid. Held on 8 January 2025 at the Water Feature on the ground floor, the event was part of Kiehl’s ongoing Lunar New Year Roadshow, which runs until 2 February 2025.
The celebration kicked off with a breathtaking lion dance performance that immediately set the tone for a vibrant evening. Guests were treated to the traditional Lou Sang tossing ceremony, where key figures, including Ricardo Schmidt, General Manager of LUXE Division, Elaine Wong, Commercial Director of LUXE Division, Jenny Chan, Brand GM of Kiehl’s Malaysia & Singapore, and Phey Yong, Kielh’s friend, joined the crowd to toss high for prosperity and joy in the new year.
Highlighting the evening was an exclusive collaboration with artist Dawn Ang, Aeropalmics, who infused Kiehl’s iconic products with her bold, dynamic designs for the 2025 Lunar New Year Limited Edition packaging. Ang’s artistic touch transformed Kiehl’s bestsellers, including the Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Mask and Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner, into visually striking collector’s items. Guests were also thrilled to receive Kiehl’s Lunar New Year money packets, adorned with Ang’s vibrant designs.
The night was further elevated with a special appearance by 3P, Malaysia’s hottest music group, who delighted fans with an intimate meet-and-greet and a live performance of their exclusive Lunar New Year anthem, “新年亮亮地” (Kiehl’s Makes You Kool!). Blending modern beats with festive flair, the performance had the crowd buzzing with excitement.
Interactive activities, including rainbow calligraphy by renowned artist Vivian Lee and personalised fortune readings, kept guests engaged throughout the evening. With exciting games like the Lucky Wind Chamber and DIY Charm station, attendees walked away with personalised trinkets and exciting prizes.
