Valentine’s Day is tomorrow and since you’ll want to spend as much time with your other half or loved ones, why not go for a simple makeup look that’s quick and subtly sexy? Our evangelist, Ren created this simple winged eyeliner look using some of Sisley Paris’ new makeup products that are coming to Sisley Paris counters this March.
Start your base with the Instant Correct Color-Correcting Primer in Just Lavender (RM330) that corrects the yellow undertones of your skin while improving the radiance and hold of your foundation with a porcelain-smooth finish. And its humidity-resistant, non-greasy texture is great for our hot weather and suitable for sensitive skin too as it’s non-comedogenic. It also comes in ‘Just Rosy’, a subtle rosy pink shade that illuminates and corrects dull complexions. Not just a primer, it also protects your skin from external aggressors and as the days pass your skin tone will become more even and brighter.
Then, Ren used the Sisley Paris Phyto-Blanc Brightening Cushion Foundation SPF 30 (RM460, Refill Pack-RM360) for a flawless “Photoshop” skin finish. This is the first cushion foundation by Sisley that’s created for Asian skin and anyone who wants a more even and luminous complexion. It has a unique pump button inside the cushion case which disperses a small amount of foundation out so you can pump to your desired amount and it won’t oxidize easily. It’s also humidity and sweat resistant that’ll last up to 8 hours and great for touch-ups.
As for the eyes, using two different eyeliner shades, Ren drew a thick winged eyeliner with the Phyto-Khol Star Waterproof (RM195) in ‘Sparkling Black’ on her eyelids and she did a smudged out the ‘Mystic Blue’ shade on the outer half of her lower lash line to create this subtly sexy winged eyeliner. This very fine retractable eyeliner applies smoothly and it has a pigmented colour payoff that lasts all day, plus being sebum and sweat resistant. It’s suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers too as it’s ophthalmologically tested.
Lastly, she did a subtle gradient lip look using the two new matte shades of the Phyto-Lip Twist Matts (RM170) by using the shade ‘Ballet’ all over her lips before adding a bit of ‘Burgundy’ on the centre of her lips and blending it out with a finger. Another great tip if you don’t have a blusher with you, is to use your lipstick as a cream blusher which is what she did using the shade ‘Ballet’ which a pink beige shade that gave off a natural flush on her cheeks to complete the look. The Phyto-Lip Twists Matts are enriched with Phytosqualane and Commiphora extract which keeps your lips supple and soft all day. The angled tip follows the curve of your lips so it’s easy to use too.
