From January 19 to February 18, 2018, visitors to the mall are sure to be blown away as the Curve’s Centre Court is transformed into a lush, heavenly mountaintop. A gentle fog carpeting the area creates the illusion of being high up in the clouds, with a pristine water feature streaming downwards. Interspersed among red lanterns, sweet cherry blossoms and other flora in a variety of pastel-coloured petals surround the area, lending a serene presence for all to enjoy.
Amidst this calming backdrop, the cascading melodies of the Curve’s Lady of Spring Dance Musical perfectly heralds the start of the Spring Festival. Specially-choreographed just for the festive occasion, the live performance showcases the joy of the nymph-like Lady of Spring and her handmaidens. Dressed in floral-inspired, vibrant pink and green costumes, the graceful dancers’ joyous performance in honour of the new lunar year is sure to be a memorable sight!
A myriad of exciting performances await visitors to the Curve aside from the live musical. In addition to the well-loved Traditional Lion Dance, enjoy a shot of adrenaline as the Acrobatic Lion Dance troupe add daring stunts to their show! Lending a touch of nostalgia, an Elegant Chinese Instrumental Orchestra featuring traditional Chinese instruments will perform a variety of Chinese New Year classics. Lastly, be sure to greet the God of Prosperity on his walkabouts around the Curve!
