To celebrate the new Lunar New Year Capsule collection, Burberry will be showcasing its latest Lunar New Year Capsule collection in the immersive pop up installation set up in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur from now until 6 February 2020.
The capsule collection will feature an eclectic series of garments in various shades of red, the auspicious and iconic colour that is tied in with the Lunar New Year, such as the limited-edition Thomas Burberry Monogram motif, inspired by the Chinese zodiac and animated with an original illustration in honour of the Year of the Rat.
First unveiled in August 2018, the Monogram was designed by Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci in collaboration with British art director and graphic designer Peter Saville. On his appointment at Burberry, Riccardo discovered a selection of 20th-century Thomas Burberry logo motifs in the house’s archive which inspired him to create a new house code.
The Lunar New Year Capsule collection is available from now until 6 February, as well as on Burberry.com and in selected Burberry stores globally.
